Stand Up For Pakistan

Aatif Nawaz, Eshaan Akbar Tez Ilyas and host a special night of stand-up comedy in aid of Pakistan.

All proceeds will go to the Disaster Emergency Committee who are supporting relief efforts in Pakistan following devastating flooding that has affected millions and killed thousands.

After a LONG lay off, Covid restrictions have eased in the UK and live stand up comedy is back. Aatif Nawaz joined BBC’s iconic Test Match Special programme as a commentator during their coverage of Pakistan’s tour of England in Summer 2020. Aatif appeared alongside Jimmy Anderson, Isa Guha, Michael Vaughan, Phil Tufnell, Azhar Mahmood and many more across 3 Test Matches and 3 T20 internationals. All coverage was live on BBC Radio 5 Live, BBC 5Live Sports Extra and the BBC Sport Website. A clip featuring Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh and British comedian Aatif Nawaz has gone viral. At the conclusion of India and Pakistan’s clash in the ICC Cricket World Cup, Aatif, a die-hard Pakistan cricket fan was visibly dejected and consoled by Ranveer. The clip has been viewed more than 9 million times and the story has been covered by Dawn, NDTV, ARY News, Samaa, Gulf News, Geo News, Latest LY, Geo Super TV, Mangobaaz, Glamsham, The News, News 18 and many other news agencies.
